Electronic Recycling Legislation for Hawaii
The Hawaii Electronic Waste and Television Recycling and Recovery Law requires manufacturers of electronic devices whose products are sold in the state to operate recycling programs at no charge to the consumer. Manufacturers are required to register with the Department of Health and implement a recycling program.

- Computers (including laptops and tablets with screens greater than 4")
- Printers & Fax machines
- Monitors
- Televisions (any with a screen greater than 9”)
- DVD/VCR/DVR
- Portable digital music players
- Routers & Modems
- Keyboards & Mice
- Power Supplies & A/C Adapters designed to support an electronic device
- Speakers/Sound Bars used with a computer or television
- Video game consoles
