Recently, we (Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations) participated in the beloved Polk County Fair in St. Croix Falls, WI, where we collaborated with the Polk County Recycling Department to orchestrate an exciting drawing for children aged between 5 and 12. This event was an opportunity for us to continue our mission of promoting recycling and sustainability, where we proudly provided a laptop for the lucky winner.
On Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 10:00 am, we held our drawing. With an overwhelming 117 entries, Anika Anderson from Amery School District was named the fortunate recipient of an HP 14” laptop, generously recycled and refurbished by us at Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations.
For those not familiar with us, Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations is an all-encompassing electronics and materials lifecycle management corporation. Our primary operations revolve around solutions for electronics recycling, legislative compliance, IT asset disposition, product refurbishment, data security, and logistics. We have established locations in Onalaska, Wisconsin and Nashville, Tennessee.
The fair was not just about the laptop giveaway, however. Over 400 young explorers joined us in a scavenger hunt located in the recycling and land & water tent. Here, they were challenged to find pictures of recycling and land and water items scattered around the tent, with wooden or foam gliders as prizes. In the pursuit of educating our future stewards of the planet, displays were set up to showcase how the recycling center amasses more than 3,000,000 pounds a year, preventing this waste from ending up in landfills. Moreover, visitors were offered insights into the recycling process and related topics. Our friends at Logistic Recycling Inc. from Somerset even demonstrated the fascinating process of recycling light bulbs and accepting hazardous waste at their facility.
